The Truck will visit a pop-up museum hosted by the DC Public Library at Lincoln Congregational Temple on Saturday, December 7th. The museum – created by you! – is a collaboration between Lincoln Congregational Temple UCC, the DC Public Library, the Shaw Community Center, Oral Historian Dan Acker, and Georgetown Day School to feature Lincoln Temple personalities and stories about the church’s music, social justice, and its past, present, and future. Bring your #MyLincolnTemple story to share!
During the event, Humanities Truck fellow Naoko Wowsugi will present her “Group Portrait Journey in DC” project, with an exhibit and photoshoot of the Temple’s congregation.
