The 158th Battle of Fort Stevens Commemoration will be in-person this year. Saturday, July 16, 2022 (10am – 2pm) at Fort Stevens. Women were intimately connected to the Defenses of Washington. Learn more about their stories. Military & civilian reenactors, historical interpreters, live period music & children’s activities. Sponsored by the the National Park Service in Cooperation with the Alliance to Preserve the Civil War Defenses of Washington.
Free and open to the public.
The Humanities Truck will amplify the event’s live performances through sound and stage while also featuring a historical exhibit.
