The Labor Heritage Foundation and the AFL-CIO present a 3 weekend-long musical performance of Working in DC, a public celebration of the dignity of work. Join us on September 6th, 11th, and 18th at Black Lives Matter plaza in Washington, D.C. The Humanities Truck will take part in this celebration by inviting audience members to share stories about the personal stories on work they are most proud of in DC. These stories will be recorded and shared through a community archive. The Humanities Truck will also feature an art installation by Professor Ludy Grandas of American University titled Jornaleros: Manos Invisibles.
